This is what Mike and I are going to become.

Junior's new skill: When Mike talks to my belly, the baby wiggles around. Cool.

I think I felt a real kick yesterday, for the second time. The kicks are different from the general squirming. It's like "wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, PUNCH." Interesting. Mike tried to explain to the boy that he shouldn't kick his mother. We'll see how well he listens over the next few months.

Oh, and here's the photo shoot.

Today was the big 20 week ultrasound appointment. And it's a boy! Definitely a boy, no question. Everything looked to be in the right place, he currently weighs 13 oz., is in the 61st percentile as far as size (so glad he's not 99th there...) Now to finalize the name. Mike and I are about 99% set on one we love, but we don't want to tell. There's got to be some mystery left, right?

Last night, there were very dramatic thunderstorms in the area. Mike and I were both startled awake at 1:45am by a particularly loud clap of thunder. Emily was running around like a nutball, so we brought her back to bed and tried to get back to sleep. But then, the fourth member of the family started rolling around and kicking like a uterine acrobat. Hilarious. I can already see the coming months, the cat and the baby taking turns waking us up all night. :)
